Rum Line and Labour Day Results


The Rum Line and Labour Day regattas are history.

The Rum Line Regatta and Labour Day Regatta was a fun weekend.
The Rum Line Regatta was on Saturday, September 2. A race from Colchester to CIYC with 15+ knots of breeze out of the West.
Big thanks to Pete, Sheila and Rachel for assisting with the CB duties
There were 9 boats registered for the day.

1st place Jog went to Silverheels
2nd place Jog went to Vela
3rd place Jog went to Midnight Oil

1st place PHRF went to 10 Forward
2nd place PHRF went to Spitfire
3rd place PHRF went to Spongeworthy

The Labour Day Regatta was on Sunday, September 3.
A race that had the fleet doing a round trip to Colchester.
The breeze was light to start the race and eventually built to a nice 10-12 knots for the ride home.
A big thanks goes to Dave Bowring once again for parking Portia out in the lake for CB duties.
Also, a big thanks to Paul Cairoli for times and start sequence.
There were 17 boats registered for the day.

3rd place Jog went to Escapade

2nd place PHRF went to Ten Forward
3rd place PHRF went to Spongeworthy

Thanks to all that attended the races and stuck around for the dinner, great food and laughs were had by all.
